Pre-conditions

• Trimble ID & Catalyst License or RTK License Assigned

Download – Google Play Store
    

• Download and install Trimble Mobile Manager
• Download and install TerraFlow Mapper of choice
  • Utility Mapper
  • Pole Mapper
  • Sensor Mapper
  • Surface Mapper

Trimble R Series / Spectra / Catalyst DA2 Bluetooth

• Open Android Settings / Connections / Bluetooth
• Turn on GPS (Blue light should be flashing)
• Press Scan on Android Settings
• Pair the GPS when found

Trimble Mobile Manager - Configure

• Open Trimble Mobile Manager
• Login with the Trimble ID
• Connect to the GPS
• Go to Configuration
• Configure NTRIP settings if not using Trimble Catalyst
• Change settings for Canada
  • Output = Select from list
  •  GNSS output = NAD83(CSRS) v7 (EPOCH:2010)
  •  Geoid = Canada CGG2013A (NAD83)
• Change settings for United States
  • Output = Select from list
  • GNSS output = NAD83(2011) (EPOCH:2010)
  • Geoid = GEOID18 (Conus)
  • Disconnect from DA2

TerraFlow Mapper - Configure

• Open the TerraFlow Mapper product
• Open Settings
  • Tap three dots in upper right
  • Tap Settings
• Scroll down to "Location Settings"
• Select "Trimble GNSS" in the Location Provider
• Select the Bluetooth Address for the GPS Unit in the Location Device
• In the Translation to Webmercator select
  • NAD83 CSRS --> WebMercator (if you are in Canada)
  • NAD832011 ITRF 2014 --> WebMercator (if you are in the United States)
